We are no longer accepting applications for 2019/20. The form closed 1st November.
What is it?
As part of the Student Mental Health Agreement project, we are delighted to be able to offer a small grant scheme this year to support the piloting of a new activity, campaign or the trial of a new idea. We have a small pot of money, and will be offering a maximum of £250 to 10 Scottish institutions.
Who can apply?
Our new small grant scheme is open to any institution who is currently taking part in the Student Mental Health Agreement project. To help you keep your idea and Agreement as in sync as possible, those leading on the Student Mental Health Agreement should apply for the grant. We will only accept one application per institution.. Your application will not be means tested.
What will we fund?
Do you want to pilot a new activity? A new campaign? Are you looking to trial a new idea? This idea should be in support of one of your aims on your Student Mental Health Agreement and you will be asked to highlight which aim it compliments. .
We want to support you!
How will the grants be awarded?
A panel which will consist of members from Think Positive, NUS Scotland and the Student Mental Health Agreement Project Advisory group will grade and award submissions. The panel will also provide brief feedback to each institution that applies.
What’s the timeline?
Applications will open in October; but don’t let that delay your ideas forming! Applications will close in November, with the money being awarded in November/December. We would then like to hear from you about how your campaign has gone in your End of Year Report for your Student Mental Health Agreement in June.
