Think Positive Student Mental Health Summit

Think Positive are hosting a Student Mental Health Summit on Tuesday 29 March 2016.

The event will provide a great opportunity for colleges, universities and students’ associations to share good practice in areas relating to student mental health. It will also offer the opportunity to find out more about working with NUS Scotland and other partners on mental health initiatives.

Held in central Edinburgh, this event is open to college, university and students’ association staff, officers and volunteers with a role relating to student welfare, wellbeing and or mental health. Students are also welcome to attend. Those working in health promotion from NHS, local authority and third sector organisations might also be interested in coming along to learn more about partnering with universities and colleges.

Throughout the day we will have speakers who have been working in student support services, student associations and external support organisations sharing their knowledge and experience. We will also be offering a selection of workshops to provide learning opportunities for attendees around tools, tips and techniques for promoting better mental health and well being.

The event is FREE but places are limited so register now to guarantee a place.

Visit our Eventbrite page to register and find out more: studentmentalhealth.evevntbrite.co.uk
